Our mission

Since 2012, organized and institutionalized Chinese language education has been taking place at the University of Miskolc. In the first year, a smaller center hosted the trainings; in August 2013, Hungary's third Confucius Institute was established.

The uniqueness of our institute is that both its establishment and maintenance are supported by two partners.

In an unusual way in the global network of Confucius Institutes, two higher education institutions and a company cooperate. The educational and cultural partnership between the University of Miskolc and the Beijing University of Chemical Industry is complemented by the Yantai-Kazincbarcika chemical industry group, Wanhua-BorsodChem.
